Sanabria is finally moving to Real Salt Lake following a lengthy negotiation and should be ready to play in the opening weeks of the season. The versatile player started his career in Atletico Madrid in Spain but was sent to San Luis since 2021. He converted from central midfielder to left-back, the latter position being where he played most in recent campaigns. He was in great form with two goals and five assists over his last 12 Liga MX appearances. If he continues to be used as a defender in his new club, the recent Uruguayan international will threaten all of Sam Junqua, Lukas Engel and Alexandros Katranis in terms of playing time.
