Pupe has been loaned to Belgian side Sint-Truidense VV, leaving Vancouver Whitecaps until June 2026, his parent club announced Thursday.

Pupe was unable to establish himself in MLS after being sidelined due to a hamstring injury and ultimately recording 26 minutes of play in 2025. The versatile defender is now set to continue his career in his country but could eventually return to Vancouver for the final part of the 2026 campaign. Until then, Mathias Laborda and Tate Johnson should be active on the left side of the defense.
