Jaidon Anthony
26-Year-Old
Burnley
The Championship
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Anthony revived his career last season after a down 2023/24 at Leeds United. Burnley made his loan permanent and now he has a chance to compete in the Premier League after scoring eight goals and adding seven assists in 43 appearances (42 starts) last season. He's expected to remain in that starting role, and with set pieces should hold more fantasy value than most other promoted players. He didn't have much success in 30 appearances with Bournemouth in the 2022/23 campaign, but this should be his best opportunity yet for Premier League minutes and production.
Bags opener Sunday
Anthony scored one goal to go with two shots (two on goal), five crosses (zero accurate) and two corners in Sunday's 2-2 draw against Aston Villa.
ANALYSIS
Anthony opened up the scoring Sunday with an unassisted strike in the 8th minute. It was one of two shots he took in the match, both of which were on target. He also recorded five crosses, one tackle and one clearance before he was subbed off in the 87th minute for Jacob Bruun Larsen.
