Out on international duty
Tello won't be available for the first few rounds of the 2026 Apertura since he'll go on international duty with the Mexico U23 squad in the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games, according to Alan Rodriguez of PressPort.

Tello was expected to see regular playing time for Necaxa as one of the team's best young players, but he'll have to wait until the end of the international tournament to get back to club duty. He's not the only Necaxa player who will leave on international duty, as Diego Ochoa will also join him.
