Traore underwent a knee surgery on Wednesday and is ruled out for the time being, coach Stephane Gilli said in the press conference, according to Laurant Pruneta from Le Parisien.
ANALYSIS
Traore returned from the AFCON carrying a knee injury that he was unable to shake and ultimately required surgery on Wednesday. The right back is expected to spend a stretch on the sidelines, which is a tough blow for the Parisians given his status as a regular starter in the backline when fit since arriving over the summer. Depending on the tactical setup, Nhoa Sangui or Alimami Gory are expected to see an uptick in minutes while he is sidelined.
