Joins Inter Miami on loan
Caicedo joined Inter Miami on loan from FC Moravia through the conclusion of the 2027 MLS Sprint Season, with an option to make the move permanent, the club announced.
ANALYSIS
Caicedo came through LDU Quito's academy, including a season with the U20 side, before his move to Costa Rica with FC Moravia. The 18-year-old center back has represented Ecuador at both the youth and senior levels, making his senior international debut as a second half substitute in a 2-1 win over Saudi Arabia as part of the squad's World Cup preparations. Sporting director Alberto Marrero cited his physicality, strength in the air and pace as standout traits. Caicedo is expected to add depth to Inter Miami's backline pending receipt of his P-1 visa and International Transfer Certificate.
