Dylan Nealis
27-Year-Old
New York Red Bulls
MLS
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Nealis was a rock in defense for the Red Bulls, helping his side reach the MLS Cup final for the first time in history. The center-back posted 35 appearances (30 starts), ranking fourth in interceptions and third in clearances while leading the team with 80 tackles and 93 aerial duels. Nealis remains a locked-in starter when fit, but there isn't a ton of upside for fantasy purposes as he had just three goal involvements on the season. That said, he's a safe option to pile up floor points from defensive actions while playing for a team that should be toward the top of the Eastern Conference standings. He's probably more of a streaming option in good matchups rather than an every-week starter for fantasy.
Under fire in defeat
Nealis had one cross (one accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 2-0 defeat against FC Cincinnati.
ANALYSIS
Nealis's six clearances led the under-attack New York Red Bulls backline Saturday as they fell in a 2-0 loss at Chicago Fire. In addition to his goal-prevention efforts, the central defender attempted his first cross of the campaign (one accurate) and created his second chance. Since missing three March fixtures due to an ankle injury, Nealis has played the full 90 minuets across five successive fixtures.
