Djene Dakonam

Dakonam appeared in 31 league matches in 2024/25, starting all of them, and remained a core part of Getafe's defense, as he has every season since 2017. While he didn't score, his defensive discipline and recovery ability helped maintain the team's compact structure. He was among the league's most consistent center backs in duels and clearances and allowed himself to be more offensive, setting a new career high with 32 crosses. Heading into 2025/26, Dakonam is expected to remain a starter in the back line, which should give him some consistent clean sheet upside in most matches.
