Bouanga had another stellar season in 2024, scoring 20 goals, though he fell short of a back-to-back Golden Boot with Christian Benteke stealing the spotlight. Despite the dip, Bouanga remained LAFC's attacking focal point, using his pace and clinical finishing to terrorize defenses.
