Connor Ronan

Besides missing eight games early due to a knee injury, Ronan had a successful season. He averaged 78.16 passes and 10.15 progressive passes per 90 minutes, both elite outputs for a midfielder. He played a deeper role as Cole Bassett slid back into the midfield with the signing of Djordje Mihailovic. This tactical change reduced Ronan's assist tally to just one after contributing eight in 2023. Another factor was that Mihailovic took the majority of set pieces, limiting Ronan to just 17 percent of them. Ronan should have a similar role in 2025, capping his assist upside.
