2025 Fantasy Outlook
Gakpo has steadily improved during his time with Liverpool with 2024/25 being his best en route to 10 goals and four assists. He finished the season as the top choice on the left wing which is where he started, but whether through injury or rotation, he wasn't a lock in every starting XI. Gakpo's biggest step forward in his third season were his chances created (38), likely due to the role on the wing. Gakpo should hold onto the left wing once again, but depending on how the squad shakes out, the biggest question will be minutes. If he can surpass 2,000 minutes and 25 starts, he could near 20 goal contributions and become one of the better fantasy options in the league.
Assists opener
Gakpo assisted once to go with five shots (three on goal) and four chances created in Sunday's 2-1 victory versus Everton.
ANALYSIS
Gakpo set up Mohamed Salah for the opening goal during Sunday's clash with a beautiful pass that split the line and put Salah in alone. Gakpo was excellent during Sunday's win, one of his best performances in a season full of awful showings. The winger created four chances and came inches away from a goal of his own after a nice move from Florian Wirtz. Gakpo's future is uncertain, but he seems set for a substantial role during the Premier League run-in.
