Adams started up top once again Friday, yet he struggled to make much of an impact versus the stout Morocco defense. He didn't manage a single shot in the match and his one major contribution on the attack was a created chance. His lack of involvement wasn't entirely his fault as the team struggled to get the ball to him on the attack, though it was still a disappointing performance from the striker. He was subbed off in the 71st minute for Lyndon Dykes. Adams will likely start the final group stage match Wednesday versus Brazil and he will hope to be more involved in the crucial match for the Tartan Army.
