Bertrand Traore

Traore (knee) is set to miss around another three weeks of action as he recovers, according to Phil Smith of the Sunderland Echo. "So it's always symptom-driven, but they are both in a good place. So hopefully we'll have good news in a few weeks. Bertrand suffered an important knee injury and played with his national team in the second half. The diagnosis was that you need to rest and you need to take care of your knee if you want to have a stable knee for the end of the season and for his career as well. So we didn't rush the process and we took care of him just to make sure that he's ready to play."

Traore (knee) is expected to be sidelined for the next three weeks, manager Regis Le Bris told media during Friday's press conference. "[Bertrand] Traore needs probably three weeks to get back. He has been a miss because he is very experienced, and it is a demanding position. He has the efficiency to attack and defend."

Traore (knee) is set to miss four to six weeks due to injury, the club announced.

Traore has returned from international duty with an injury and is questionable moving forward, according to manager Regis Le Bris, per Phil Smith of the Sunderland Echo. "With Bertrand, we will see. Traore is heading back to Sunderland after completing his international duty with Burkina Faso at the AFCON and should be back available for next week's Premier League clash against Crystal Palace on Jan. 17.
