Stepanov is joining 1. FC Nurnberg on loan from Leverkusen for the 2025-26 season, his parent club announced. Signs contract extension until 2027
Stepanov has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2027, the club announced. Bayer 04 Managing Director of Sport Simon Rolfes praised the young forward's development, stating, "Artem Stepanov has developed excellently with us in Leverkusen, both athletically and in terms of football. Artem has matured and gained a lot of self-confidence. He showed this in his appearances in the U19 Youth League and also in the UEFA Youth League. He can and should continue on this path."
