Antoine Griezmann

Griezmann remains one of the most important players for Atletico Madrid, but he's coming off one of his worst seasons in recent memory. The Frenchman recorded eight goals and seven assists across 38 appearances (29 starts) and 2,481 minutes in league play, making it his worst season since the 2021/22 campaign when he left Barcelona. Griezmann is likely to remain a starter to open the 2025/26 season, but at 34 years old, a similar return can be expected. Julian Alvarez has already displaced him as the top attacking weapon, and Alexander Sorloth, who bagged 20 goals last season, is also a reliable scoring weapon waiting to land a bigger role.
