Victor Lindelof News: Cramps confirmed, fully fit for R32
Lindelof's substitution in the 88th minute against Japan was only due to cramps, with the defender confirmed fit to play, according to SVT Sport.
Lindelof had been stretched by medics on the sideline after being forced off, raising some concern given Sweden's already depleted defensive options following Isak Hien's tournament-ending injury (hamstring). The reassuring update puts those fears to rest, with Lindelof expected to slot into the defense for Sweden's round of 32 fixture against France on Tuesday. That said, if Lindelof had to play in the midfield similarly to the game against Japan, Carl Starfelt will be the one starting in the back-three.
