Marin Ljubicic News: Loaned to Fortuna Dusseldorf

Ljubicic joins Fortuna Dusseldorf from FC Union Berlin on loan until the end of the season, his parent club announced.

Ljubicic joined Union Berlin from LASK Linz last winter after recording 43 goal contributions in 100 official matches. He scored on his debut off the bench against Hoffenheim, then added goals against Mainz and Augsburg in January. The 23 year old has four goal contributions in 15 appearances and has earned 21 caps with Croatia's U21 side. He will look to see more playing time in the Bundesliga 2 before returning to Berlin in the summer.
