Lucas Herrington News: Makes four clearances, misses PK
Herrington generated four clearances and one interception in Friday's 1-1 (5-3) penalty shootout loss against Egypt.
Despite being one of the youngest players in the tournament, Herrington stepped up to take a penalty for Australia in the shootout, but he missed. The defender started in Australia's last two matches, and the Socceroos conceded just one goal with him in the starting lineup. Herrington is expected to report back to Colorado with the Rapids for the rest of the 2026 MLS season.
