Murphy (hamstring) underwent scans that revealed to be positive and could be an option for Wednesday's clash against Leeds United, coach Eddie Howe said in the press conference. "He has had a scan, good news on that, no major injury so probably just fatigue. His physical numbers in the game were outstanding so I think he will be available for us, fingers crossed."

Murphy was forced off in the last game due to a hamstring issue that revealed to be likely only just fatigue since coach Eddie Howe said the scans were positive and ruling out a major injury. Murphy could be back available for Wednesday's clash against Leeds United and will likely get a late fitness test ahead of the game. That said, if he had to miss the clash, Harvey Barnes is expected to see a greater role in the frontline of the Magpies.
