Ian Pilcher News: Contract option picked up

Pilcher's contract option has been exercised, the club announced.

Pilcher will remain with San Diego for an additional season after that his contract option was picked up. The defender was mostly a rotational option last season with San Diego as he started 13 of his 22 MLS appearances and is expected to regain a similar role heading into the 2026 MLS season. Last year he contributed one goal, one assist, 65 clearances and 17 tackles in 22 games.
