German Berterame News: Acquired by Inter Miami

Berterame is officially heading to Inter Miami until the 2028/29 season with an extension option for 2029/30 after leaving Liga MX team Monterrey, the club announced Friday.

Berterame is poised to become the natural successor to veteran Luis Suarez in his new squad's front line. Although born in Argentina, the forward has developed most of his career in Mexico, the country he now represents internationally. During his spells in Atletico San Luis and Monterrey, he constantly stood out as one of the Liga MX top scorers, tallying 86 goals and 16 assists across 222 league appearances (198 starts).
