Szobszlai was forced off the field in the 83rd minute of Saturday's 2-0 win over Brighton due to an ankle injury, according to manager Arne Slot. "And Dom, it was his ankle. It didn't look great when I just saw him. But he has unbelievable mentality, so let's hope for the best."

Szobszlai would have to end his day just ahead of the final whistle Saturday, with the midfielder withdrawn due to ankle pain. It appears at first glance that it is not a minor injury, although they do have some confidence he could be an option against Tottenham on Dec. 20. Either way, Conor Bradley should return to right-back after his suspension, with Szoboszlai hopefully an option in the midfield.
