Diego Reyes Injury: Set to miss multiple weeks

Reyes is expected to miss at least three weeks of action due to a muscle tear, Marcos Arellano of MZ Deportes reports.

Reyes' injury means a huge loss in Gallos' lineup, as he's the leader and most consistent member of their back line. He returned from a prior issue for the start of the Clausura 2026 campaign and played three full games before getting hurt again, tallying 14 clearances, seven tackles and five interceptions in that period. Santiago Homenchenko will likely move from midfield back to the defense while Reyes is out, with Carlos Villanueva offering a backup option.
