Thorhallsson has been traded to Montreal from Orlando, according to his new club.

Thorhallsson has ended his time in Orlando after three seasons with the club, as he will remain in MLS play but will instead join Montreal. The defender joins coming off a season in a rotational role, starting in 11 of his 36 appearances last campaign. However, joining a team that struggled last season in Montreal, the defender could return to a starting role, as he did start in 34 of his 36 appearances in the 2024 campaign.
