Fit or Miss: Premier League Injury Tracker - Gameweek 27

This article is part of our Fit or Miss series.

It feels like there hasn't been a Premier League match in about two months, although thankfully we've been held over by some remarkable Champions League performances (not so remarkable for the Premier League clubs, however). With lots of midweek action, including a few Europa League ties, managers will likely make some adjustments to their lineups this weekend, so be sure to check out our EPL Lineups page before finalizing your selections. Confirmed lineups are announced one hour before kickoff, and we will have them on that page shortly thereafter.

As a reminder, you can find a full list of injured players on our Injury Updates page, or if you're looking for information on a specific player, just search their name and the latest news will be on their player page.

For a few key players, here's what we're seeing heading into Gameweek 27:

Saturday, February 22

Chelsea vs. Everton
John Terry looks set to return from his muscle injury. Romelu Lukaku appears close to returning from his ankle injury, but he is prohibited from playing against his parent club this weekend. Steven Naismith may be able to return from his concussion, although it's no guarantee.

Arsenal vs. Sunderland
Aaron Ramsey (thigh) remains out for a few more weeks. Kieran Gibbs picked up a hamstring injury in Wednesday's Champions League match against Bayern Munich, and Arsenal have still not declared when newly-acquired Kim Kallstrom (back) may make his debut. Wes Brown continues to sit out due to a red card ban, while Steven Fletcher (calf) and Carlos Cuellar (hip) look set to return to fitness.

Cardiff City vs. Hull City
Craig Bellamy is suspended for the match, while Gary Medel (leg) and Jordon Mutch (hamstring) will miss out with injuries. Allan McGregor will return from his red card ban, while Robbie Brady (groin) and Joe Dudgeon (knee) will sit out again.

Manchester City vs. Stoke City
Sergio Aguero (calf) is expected to return to training next week and possibly play in the Capital One Cup final against Sunderland on March 2. Vincent Kompany has a slight hamstring injury, but is expected to play. Robert Huth is out with a knee injury, but Matthew Etherington (calf) and Andy Wilkinson (ankle) are expected back.

West Brom vs. Fulham
Nicolas Anelka continues to be sidelined by his knee injury, but West Brom expect Stephane Sessegnon (groin), Jonas Olsson (hamstring), and Billy Jones (knee) to be fit. Maarten Stekelenburg is expected to be fine after colliding with Liverpool's Luis Suarez almost two weeks ago. Fernando Amorebieta (knee) is also likely to be fit.

West Ham vs. Southampton
Andy Carroll will sit out due to his red card ban. Dejan Lovren and Gaston Ramirez both look set to return from their respective ankle injuries.

Crystal Palace vs. Manchester United
Jerome Thomas faces a late fitness test for a back issue. Phil Jones and Rafael are trying to return from concussions. Danny Welbeck continues to sit with a knee problem, and Jonny Evans is out with a calf issue.

Sunday, February 23

Liverpool vs. Swansea City
Jose Enrique is still working his way back from a knee injury, but Glen Johnson (ankle) looks ready to return. Lucas and Mamadou Sakho (leg) are likely a week away. Jonjo Shelvey, who had been dealing with a hamstring injury, was available for Thursday's Europa League match against Napoli. Michu (ankle) was held out of the Napoli match and will face a late fitness test.

Newcastle vs. Aston Villa
Loic Remy is due back from his red card suspenion, while Cheick Tiote (hamstring), and Fabricio Coloccini (knee) are expected to be fit. Aston Villa have a number of longer-term injuries, with Chris Herd continuing to be bothered by his hamstring injury.

Norwich City vs. Tottenham
Jonas Gutierrez (calf), Jonathan Howson (back), and Ryan Bennett (hip) are all expected to return to fitness. Sandro (calf) is expected to return, but Spurs will still be without Vlad Chiriches and Gylfi Sigurdsson (hip).
