Corey Heim

23-Year-Old Driver
TRICON Garage
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Heim is the reigning Craftsman Truck Series champion and he's coming off an amazing, record-setting 12-win season in 2025. The young talent is coming off two part-time efforts in the Cup Series and Heim earned his first-career Top 10 (Bristol) last season. Heim's primary focus will once again be on the Truck Series in the upcoming season but he'll still be involved in a handful of races in NASCAR's top division. He is 23XI Racing's top development driver and next in line for a ride in the Cup Series when the opportunity comes along. For now he'll have to wait and keep stacking up victories and championships in the Truck Series. While his footprint of races and corresponding impact is small, Heim is wildly talented and a driver to watch very closely in the near future. Read Past Outlooks
Wins Truck Series Championship
Craftsman Truck Series
October 31, 2025
By virtue of winning the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway on Friday night, Heim was declared the 2025 series champion.
ANALYSIS
Heim would lead a race-high 100 laps and set the pace most of the evening in the Arizona desert. However, a couple late cautions would force NASCAR double overtime. Heim would choose the inside lane to restart alongside Ty Majeski. The two would battle door-to-door for a lap after the green flag, but Heim would pull away coming to the white flag. He would pull away to a comfortable victory, his 12th of the season. Heim would also be crowned the 2025 Craftsman Truck Series champion as a result.

2022
Heim may have finished runner-up in last season's championship chase, but he sure raced like a champion in 2024. The driver of the No. 11 Toyota racked up a career-best six victories and 18 Top-10 finishes in the 23-event schedule. Heim was equally dangerous on all size ovals and even road courses with his win at COTA. He returns to the same TRICON team and crew chief, Scott Zipadelli, and will seek to capture that elusive Craftsman Truck Series championship. At just 22-years-old he's yet to hit his prime and has a lot of good racing still to come. Heim is one of the top performing drivers of the past three seasons and really the man to beat in terms of the 2025 championship.
With so many driver promotions impacting the Craftsman Truck Series, we expect to see a shakeup at the top this season. Heim returns to the No. 11 TRICON team and will look to build on his career-best three wins and 19 Top-10 finishes of last season. The young driver would race for the championship last November, but would come up just a bit short at Phoenix, finishing third in the final standings. With no Carson Hocevar, Zane Smith nor GMS Racing around in 2024, the series seems ripe for Heim's taking. Scott Zipadelli returns at crew chief for this strong team, and he'll look to guide Heim to many wins and possibly a first-ever truck series championship.
The 20-year-old talent had quite the season with Kyle Busch Motorsports last year. Heim's rookie campaign would include two wins, two poles and 10 Top-10 finishes. Since he only competed in 16 events, Heim wouldn't factor in the championship picture. However, this year he's set to take on the full slate of races with new team TRICON Garage. Heim will pilot their No. 11 Toyota and look to push into the upper tier of drivers in 2023. It will be a tall task after the team change, but we believe Heim has the talent to make it happen. There are some unknowns about this team at the time of this writing so the picture isn't completely clear, but Heim's talent alone is good enough to take this team far.
For the first time in a long time, there will be no Kyle Busch racing in this division of NASCAR. That means his driver rotation truck of the No. 51 team will have an all-new outlook this season. Youngster Heim will take the bulk of the 23-race schedule with 15 starts. It remains to be seen who will fill in the other eight starts for the team. This truck achieved great success with Busch last season, but much less performance with the younger drivers. The 19-year-old Heim has just three starts of experience in this division of NASCAR, but he is talented. Heim won six races and finished runner-up in the ARCA Menards Series in 2021. He'll have a lot to learn in the upcoming season, but with undoubtedly some highlights along the way.
