Cachoeira will fight fellow bantamweight Chelsea Chandler at UFC Vegas 118 on June 6, according to Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
UFC Vegas 118 will see two women's bantamweight fighters attempting to get back on track. In Cachoeira's case, the veteran's last five fights include a 1-4 record with three finishes for losses. This may be Cachoeira's last chance to prove worthiness as a UFC title contender, considering Chandler has been losing a lot most recently as well.

Falls to 1-4 in past five fights

Cachoeira lost to Klaudia Sygula via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
This was Cachoeira's 13th UFC fight and also the 13th time in which she entered as the betting underdog. This time, at +155. Inside the Octagon, it was the same old story for the Brazilian. Cachoeira is super aggressive on the feet and displays some of the worst stand-up defense in the sport. She has no interest in moving her head off the center line, instead opting to eat all the damage coming her way. As a result, even an opponent with limited power like Sygula can have a career night offensively. Maybe Cachoeira has a little extra wiggle room because she trains with Amanda Nunes, but now sporting a 1-4 record in her past five fights, her roster spot has to be in jeopardy.

Cachoeira lost to Joselyne Edwards via KO (punches) at 2:24 of Round 1 at UFC Vegas 109 on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Cachoeira was somewhat effective with her striking early on, which included an eye poke, but the longer, stronger Edwards didn't take long to find her mark. Cachoeira ate a clean 1-2 that had her out on her feet, as well as a few follow-up shots, before referee Herb Dean could jump in. Any momentum Cachoeira picked up with her victory over Josiane Nunes in March has now halted, and she's now lost three of her last four.

Cachoeira is scheduled to compete against Joselyne Edwards in a bantamweight fight at UFC Vegas 109 on Aug. 9, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Cachoeira will have a month to prepare for Edwards, who is 2-0 in her last two fights. The former will also look to be 2-0 in her last two fights after having knocked out Josiane Nunes in March.
Snaps brief losing streak

Cachoeira defeated Josiane Nunes via KO (punch) at 2:46 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Both women entered having lost each of their past two bouts, and the one that came up short here would almost certainly be looking at a release. Cachoeira responded with a trademark performance, aided by some recklessness on the Nunes side. Now 36 years old, Priscila brings little to the table other than her power. Thus, leave it to Nunes to push forward without a care in the world and get cracked with a fight-ending uppercut. It would go on to earn Cachoeira one of four $50,000 Performance of the Night bonuses awarded on the evening. Little should be expected of Cachoeira moving forward, although her roster spot should be secure for one more fight after this win.

Cachoeira will face off against Josiane Nunes at UFC Vegas 104 on Mar. 15, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Cachoeira will look to get back on track following two-straight losses against Jasmine Jasudavicius at UFC 297 and Miranda Maverick at UFC 291. The 36-year-old Brazilian fighter is 4-6 during her time with the UFC.
