Filling in for Campbell
Llontop will fight Mauricio Ruffy at UFC 309 on Nov. 16, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports,
ANALYSIS
Llontop will be filling in for Charlie Campbell, who withdrew from the fight Thursday for unknown reasons. Still looking for his first win in the UFC, Llontop's future within the promotion could come into question if he's unable to defeat Ruffy, who hasn't lost a professional bout in nearly five years.

Still searching for first UFC win
Llontop lost to Slava Borshchev via split decision (28-29, 29-28, 27-30) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
All things considered, this was a pretty solid performance from Llontop as a +200 underdog. Everyone knows the way to beat Borshchev is by trying to grapple him. So, of course, Llontop didn't attempt a single takedown over the course of the 15-minute bout. He did manage to match Slava blow-for-blow on the feet, with both men landing 97 total strikes. Llontop appeared to make some headway over the course of the final five minutes, but it still wasn't enough to sway two of the three judges. Still just 25 years of age, Llontop has now lost each of his first two UFC bouts, and he missed weight for his debut against Chris Padilla this past April. It's not a guarantee he'll receive a third opportunity with the company.

Scheduled against Borshchev
Llontop is scheduled to compete against Slava Borshchev in a lightweight fight at the UFC's Aug. 24 Vegas event, per Mike Heck of MMA Fighting.
ANALYSIS
Since earning a UFC contract through Dana White's Contender Series, Llontop has had a rough go, with his promotion debut being changed multiple times before he ultimately fought and submitted to Chris Padilla. Fortunately for Llontop, Borshchev is also fighting off a loss, so both lightweights will try to use their upcoming bout as a bounce-back opportunity.

Taps out after weight miss
Llontop lost to Chris Padilla via submission (rear-naked choke) at 4:33 of Round 1 at UFC on ESPN 55 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
The past 36 hours are the type that can make a fighter lose his roster spot. Llontop missed weight by half a pound Friday morning, costing him a percentage of his purse in order for the bout to proceed. He was then tapped out by Padilla late in Round 1 despite being a -500 favorite, one of the largest on the entire card. Llontop is probably going to get the benefit of the doubt because he's just 24 years old and this was his first fight with the UFC, but he clearly has significant areas to correct moving forward.

Fighting heavy
Llontop weighed in 1.5 pounds over the welterweight limit ahead of Saturday's bout with Chris Padilla at UFC Vegas 91, MMA Junkie reports.
ANALYSIS
Llontop will forfeit 20 percent of his fight purse to Chris Padilla after weighing in heavy. The 24-year-old newcomer, who boasts a 14-2 professional record, will look to pick up his first win in the UFC this weekend.
