Artur Minev
Headhunter

Ukraine
Stopped in late-notice debut
Minev lost to Tommy Gantt via TKO (punches) at 2:51 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Minev is 22 years old and accepted this fight less than a week ago. He's a prospect, and a good one, but this was a near-impossible spot against a guy with a high-level grappling game. Minev was able to stuff 11-of-17 takedowns from Gantt and did a nice job of working his way back to his feet when he did hit the mat, but he was eventually just overwhelmed by the constant pressure of his opponent. It wasn't the result the newcomer was looking for, but he'll get another shot with the company, presumably with a full training camp under his belt.
