Signs with Lotte
Goodrum signed a one-year contract with the Lotte Giants on Tuesday, Jee-ho Yoo of the Yonhap News Agency reports.
ANALYSIS
Lotte released outfielder Zach Reks to clear room on the roster for Goodrum, who spent parts of six seasons in MLB with the Minnesota Twins, Detroit Tigers and Houston Astros from 2017 through 2022. Goodrum had played exclusively in the minor leagues this season for the Boston Red Sox's Triple-A affiliate, logging an impressive .888 OPS across 65 games before he opted out of his contract earlier this month to pursue opportunities overseas.
