2025 Fantasy Outlook
Kaiser spent most of the 2024-25 campaign in the NHL, recording four goals, eight points, 14 PIM, 66 shots, 54 hits and 93 blocks across 57 outings with Chicago. He also had three assists in 17 regular-season appearances with AHL Rockford. The 23-year-old has a solid chance of spending all of 2025-26 with Chicago, but he’s unlikely to get a meaningful amount of power-play ice time or more than 10-15 total points. He might also get 70-90 hits and 125-150 blocks if he plays regularly. Read Past Outlooks
Departs Wednesday's game
Kaiser sustained a lower-body injury and won't return to Wednesday's game versus the Blue Jackets.
ANALYSIS
Kaiser put little weight on his left leg after getting tangled up with Zach Werenski in the first period. The 23-year-old Kaiser will have the whole Olympic break to recover, but that may not be enough if further evaluations reveal a significant injury.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2024
2023
Last season, Kaiser logged 32 NHL games for the Blackhawks in which he generated seven assists, 18 shots on net and 22 hits while averaging 17:19 of ice time. With the team adding Alec Martinez and T.J. Brodie via free agency, the chances of Kaiser getting significant minutes on the NHL roster remain relatively slim. In dynasty formats, the 21-year-old Minnesota native could be worth stashing considering he recorded four goals and 14 assists in 37 games with AHL Rockford, but he's a long-term project at this point.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Contract negotiations continuing
Kaiser and the Blackhawks will meet again Tuesday as they work toward a new deal for the restricted free agent ahead of training camp, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Kaiser played in 57 NHL games for the Hawks last year in which he generated four goals, four assists and 66 shots while averaging 18:07 of ice time. The lack of a deal for the 23-year-old blueliner likely factored into the team's decision to add Matt Grzelcyk to the roster on a professional tryout agreement. While Kaiser does have some offensive upside, he hasn't been able to break into a power-play role at the NHL level, which will limit his fantasy value once a deal does get signed.
