2025 Fantasy Outlook
In the 2021-22 season, Tarasenko set a career-high with 82 points in 75 games with the Blues. In the three seasons since, he has played for four teams and has produced a total of 138 points in 225 games, a far cry from that over point-per-game pace. The 2024-25 season was his first and last with the Red Wings, and he enjoyed his healthiest campaign since 2017-18. However, the 33-year-old put up just 33 points in 80 games, his lowest total in any year with at least 60 games played. As a result, his ice time dipped and he finished the season on the third line before being traded to the Wild in the offseason. A year of health and stability might help him turn back the clock, but it's tough to imagine Tarasenko finding his way back to a 20-goal or 40-point effort at this stage in his career. Lights lamp in win
Tarasenko scored a goal and put two shots on net in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Red Wings.
ANALYSIS
Tarasenko put the Wild up 3-1 midway through the second period for the team's third tally of the frame. Overall, he is up to 22 goals, 44 points, 138 shots on net, 59 hits and 30 blocked shots across 70 games this season. He's been a stable contributor for Minnesota's offense since the beginning of March with seven goals and 12 points over his last 15 games. He should continue to play a middle-six role for the Wild amidst their push for a higher seed in the Central Division before the playoffs, giving Tarasenko a solid floor for the remainder of the fantasy playoffs.

A deadline-day trade saw Tarasenko dealt to the Panthers. He appeared in 19 regular-season contests for the club in which he notched 14 points before adding five goals and four assists in 24 postseason contests on his way to a Stanley Cup title. Fresh off his postseason success, the veteran winger opted to sign a two-year, $9.5 million deal with the Red Wings. With his new team, the high-end puckhandler may have to settle for a third-line role unless the coaching staff decides to move him over to the left wing. Still, as the top scoring threat on his own line, Tarasenko could challenge for the 30-goal threshold for the first time since 2021-22 when he was with the Blues.
