Gallagher will make the move to Colorado College after entering the transfer portal, Mark Divver of the New England Hockey Journal reports Wednesday.

Gallagher spent the last three seasons at Boston University but saw his offensive production significantly drop off in 2023-24 with just five assists in 37 appearances. Selected by the Bruins in the seventh round of the 2021 NHL Draft, the 21-year-old blueliner will likely need to turn things around with his new college team in order to convince Boston to give him a professional contract.
