2026 Fantasy Outlook
Few depth scorers get to shine with the Hurricanes, but Hall provided middle-six stability in 2025-26. He earned 18 goals, 30 assists, 137 shots on net, 53 hits, 44 PIM and a plus-6 rating over 80 regular-season contests. It's his most productive campaign in four years. Hall then found some chemistry with Logan Stankoven and Jackson Blake in the playoffs. The Hurricanes will often shuffle lines throughout the campaign, so don't count on Hall having steady linemates throughout 2026-27. There's also some risk of regression -- Hall will be 35 years old for most of the upcoming season. Pencil him in for 15-20 goals, 40-50 points and modest non-scoring totals across the board. That makes him little more than a scoring depth option in most fantasy formats. Read Past Outlooks
Tallies Cup-clinching goal
Hall scored a goal on two shots and went plus-2 in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Golden Knights in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals.
ANALYSIS
Vegas bungled a zone entry, and Hall took a pass from Jaccob Slavin to get behind the defense. Hall made no mistake on the shot, and his goal at 3:47 of the first period was the game-winner in the Hurricanes' Cup-clinching victory. The 34-year-old had a stellar postseason with seven goals, 12 assists, 55 shots on net, 24 hits, 14 PIM, 13 blocked shots and a plus-14 rating over 19 appearances. Hall signed a three-year contract extension in April of 2025, so he figures to continue to be a part of the Hurricanes' middle six in 2026-27.

Hall was part of a complicated January trade, landing in Carolina alongside Mikko Rantanen. While Rantanen wasn't meant to stay with the Hurricanes, Hall has found a home in Carolina for the next three years after signing an extension to avoid free agency. He put up a total of 42 points in 77 regular-season contests, just the second time in the last five years he's topped the 40-point mark. The days of Hall being a team's leader on offense are long gone, and that's fine for the Hurricanes, who are built on depth and balance more than star power. Hall could still push for the 20-goal and 40-point marks in 2025-26 if he performs at the same level he did post-trade in 2024-25 (nine goals, nine assists in 31 games).

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Looking to end career in Carolina
Hall is hoping that the Hurricanes are the final stop of his NHL career, CardiacCane.com reports Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Hall has played for seven different organizations over his 15-year NHL career, including his move to the Hurricanes from the Blackhawks last season. With a new three-year contract set to kick in ahead of the 2025-26 campaign, the veteran winger should have some stability, especially considering his deal contains a full no-movement clause for the first two years. As long as Hall is pushing for the 20-goal threshold, a mark he just barely missed with 18 goals last season over 77 regular-season games, on a competitive 2025-26 Canes squad, he shouldn't have to worry about being moved again.
