2026 Fantasy Outlook
Raddysh broke out offensively in 2025-26, compiling 22 goals and 48 assists across 73 regular-season games. He was productive on Tampa Bay's top power-play unit, chipping in 10 goals and 26 points. He also provided 212 shots on net, 69 blocked shots, 67 hits and a plus-21 rating. He ranked second among all blueliners with six game-winners. After comfortably surpassing his previous bests of six goals and 37 points across 73 regular-season appearances in the 2024-25 campaign, Raddysh is a bit of a gamble for 2026-27. Still, he possesses plenty of offensive upside and could be a solid choice for fantasy managers if he finds himself in the right situations again. Read Past Outlooks
Moved in sign-and-trade deal
Raddysh was traded to the Maple Leafs from the Lightning on Friday in exchange for a 2026 fifth-round pick and agreed to terms on an eight-year, $68 million contract, Pierre LeBrun of TSN reports.
ANALYSIS
Raddysh was expected to hit the free-agent market July 1, so the fact that the Lightning were able to get at least something on the trade market feels like a win. The 30-year-old blueliner is coming off a career year in Tampa this season, racking up 22 goals and 48 assists, including 25 power-play points, in 73 regular-season contests. With Toronto, Raddysh figures to slot into the top pairing in addition to linking up with the No. 1 power-play unit.

Raddysh put together a career season last year, registering six goals, 31 assists and a plus-9 rating in 73 regular-season games. The journey for the undrafted blueliner hasn’t been easy, but he has become a legitimate top-four defenseman with the Lightning. He wasn’t a big physical presence, finishing with 38 hits and 68 blocked shots in 2024-25 after the prior season in which he recorded 75 and 105, respectively, but he took major strides on offense. He saw consistent time on the power play, posting nine points while averaging 1:47 per game in that situation. Now in the last year of a two-year, $1.95 million contract, the 29-year-old will enter 2025-26 motivated with the chance to reach free agency for the first time in his career. Raddysh has gotten consistently better each season, so don’t rule out a 40-point campaign if he continues on his upward trajectory.
