Nico Daws News: Re-signs with New Jersey

Daws signed a two-year, $2.2 million contract with the Devils on Wednesday.

Daws has spent most of the past two seasons in the minors. He went 17-16-11 with a 2.78 GAA and .892 save percentage across 44 regular-season appearances with AHL Utica in 2025-26. After the Devils traded Jacob Markstrom to Florida on Tuesday, Daws could compete for starts with Jake Allen during the 2026-27 campaign.
