2023 Fantasy Outlook
Daccord was just alright in going 2-1-1 over five games with the Kraken last year. He was much better in the AHL with a 26-8-3 record, 2.38 GAA and .918 save percentage over 38 regular-season games before taking his game to another level (2.22 GAA, .926 save percentage) in the AHL playoffs. He's not guaranteed to win the backup job behind Philipp Grubauer, but Daccord certainly has some momentum in that direction compared to Chris Driedger. Given Grubauer's spotty numbers over the last two years, Daccord could very well carve out a hearty timeshare if he starts 2023-24 in the NHL. Still just 26 years old, he could be a sleeper on the goalie board for fantasy managers.
