2026 Fantasy Outlook
Detry joined the PGA Tour full-time in 2023, and he took very little time to get acclimated. He landed in the top 50 at year's end and hasn't left in the two years that followed. Detry hasn't shown a lot of consistency in his PGA Tour career, but he has shown some nice upside. Though he managed just two top-10s this past season, his numbers looked good because he picked-up his first win at the WM Phoenix Open. Detry isn't super consistent and he's not a grinder (he's played just 24 and 22 events the past two seasons) so it really depends on him finding his best game a couple times a year. That's not exactly a recipe for success when you're looking for golfers that have high upsides. As such, he's not a great salary cap option as he'll likely land somewhere near where he ended up this past year. Read Past Outlooks
Misses out on U.S. Open spot
Detry posted a 16-under cumulative score at LIV Golf Virginia to finish tied for sixth with Anthony Kim.
ANALYSIS
Detry entered Virginia third in the LIV Golf individual standings behind Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau, which had Detry in line to earn a spot at the U.S. Open Championship in June. He played well over the weekend with an 11-under score over the final two rounds, but his performance was not enough to maintain his spot in the standings, with Lucas Herbert's four-stroke win in Virginia moving the Australian into the top-3 of the season-long table. Detry did help his 4Aces win the team event after pairing up with Kim to defeat the Fireballs duo of David Puig and Josele Ballester on the first playoff hole. That said, Detry would have likely preferred to punch his ticket to Shnnecock Hills Golf Club if given the choice. He's in the field for next week's PGA Championship, where he finished T4 in 2024 before missing the cut last year at Quail Hollow.

2023
There was plenty of buzz surrounding Detry as he made his PGA Tour debut in 2023, and and while there weren't any big splashes, there was a high level of consistency throughout his rookie season. Detry made the cut in 23/29 starts as a rookie, which is very impressive considering he spent his entire career up to that point in Europe. While he could only parlay those made cuts into three top-10s, he did post 11 top-25s on his way to just under $2.5 million in earnings. This past year his cuts-made percentage dropped a bit, but his overall production was higher with four top-10s and over $3.6 million in earnings. Detry seems to be hitting his stride in the states, and at just 32 years-old, he should be entering his prime. As such, Detry has plenty of value in salary cap leagues this season.
