2026 Fantasy Outlook
Fowler has seen a lot of peaks and valleys in his 15 years on the PGA Tour. Seven wins, four times inside the top-10 at year's and and tens of millions in earnings. That's the good. The bad is a somewhat recent stretch that saw him land outside the top 125 in consecutive seasons. He's since rebounded from that stretch but it continues to be a wild ride. In Fowler's comeback season, he topped $6 million in earnings and ended the season inside the top 10, but the following season he was back outside the top 100. Predictably, he rebounded from that down season and nearly cracked the top 30. If you believe in trends, he'd be due for a down year again, but he's running out of peak years at this point, so a renewed focus is just as likely. Even with that however, his number is set fairly high for this season, so he's not a great salary cap option this season. Read Past Outlooks
Weekend struggles
Fowler posted a two-under 70 on Sunday at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am to finish tied for 19th place.
ANALYSIS
Going into the weekend, Fowler was in prime position to contend for his first win in more than two and a half years. Thanks to rounds of 66-64 on Thursday and Friday, Fowler was firing on all cylinders heading into Saturday. However, after ranking first in the field in round two in SG: Approach, Fowler struggled on Saturday with his approach play. Add on the troubles he had on hole six which saw him hit it out of bounds in back to back shots, leading to a double bogey, Fowler finished his third round with a one-over 73. Fowler's play improved on Sunday, but it still wasn't enough to catch the leaders. While Saturday kept Fowler from contending on the weekend, for the week, he still ranked inside the top-20 in both SG: Approach and SG: Putting. After coming off back to back top-20 finishes, Fowler adds one more and will head to Riviera next week riding some really good play.

After seemingly refinding his form to pick up his first win in over four years in 2023, Fowler was unable to maintain anywhere near the same level in 2024 with just one top-10 and five top-25s, three of which came against weaker competition in the fall. His ball striking was the main reason he took a stepbackwards as he lost over 10 yards off the tee compared to the year prior and went from seventh in SG: Approach all the way down to 122nd. The bright side is that his best result of the year came in his most recent start at the ZOZO Championship in October. The ceiling is higher than a lot of players but it's difficult to know which version of Fowler we will see in 2025.
