Coody notched a pair of top-10s and six top-25s across 17 events played on the PGA Tour in 2025, but he earned his card for the 2026 season via the Korn Ferry Tour Points List, posting a pair of runner-up results and seven top-10s at the KFT level this past year. Second in SG: OTT at Doral
Coody carded a two-under 70 on Sunday at the Cadillac Championship to finish four-under and tied for 38th.
ANALYSIS
Coody's final round on the Blue Monster Course at Doral was highlighted by a streak of three birdies on hole Nos. 15-17, and he ultimately closed out the Signature Event ranked second among the field in SG: Off-the-Tee and T7 in driving accuracy. Coody racked up 18 total birdies in Miami, despite losing 1.6 strokes on approach. He'll be in the field again this week for the Truist Championship at Quail Hollow Club, where he missed the cut during his Wells Fargo Championship debut back in 2023.

Expectations were high for Coody after a two-win season on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2023. It was largely disappointing apart from a T5 at Colonial and a T2 at the ISCO Championship, however. Coody does two things well, hits the ball far and can hole putts with the best of them. If he is going to take the next step, however, he is going to have to do better on approach and in the short game department. Coody ranked outside the top-150 in both SG: Approach and SG: Around-the-Green in 2024. There's certainly still upside here, but Coody is probably a couple years away.
