Elvira carded a two-under 69 in the final round at the Dubai Invitational to capture a one-stroke victory over Daniel Hillier.

ANALYSIS
Elvira shared the overnight lead with four other players heading into Championship Sunday. He opened the final round strongly with three birdies through the first seven holes, only for that hard work to be outdone by back-to-back bogeys on the eighth and ninth holes. Elvira managed to play mistake-free golf on the back nine and added a birdie on the 17th, and he came away with his third victory on the DP Tour (and first since the Soudal Open in May of 2024) after Shane Lowry and Rory McIlroy carded a double bogey and bogey, respectively, on the par-4 18th. Elvira led the field in SG: Putting (1.60) and finished fourth in SG: Approach (1.45). He will be in the field for the Hero Dubai Desert Classic starting Thursday.
