Max Greyserman

31-Year-Old Golfer
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Greyserman had a strong rookie season on the PGA Tour, eventually landing in the top 50 at season's end. His sophomore campaign wasn't quite as strong, but he managed to score a runner-up finish in the fall at the Baycurrent Classic, which pushed him into the top 50 on the money list. It really was a tale of two seasons for Greyserman in 2025. The first half brought a lot of consistency, but few high-end finishes, while the second half had little consistency, but two runner-ups. His rookie season was simply split between good and bad, so in that sense, showing the ability to play well in spots for the entire season was a growth point for Greyserman. With that said, the bar is set pretty high here and it's unclear if Greyserman's ceiling is much higher than what he's shown to this point. With that in mind, it's probably best to pass on him in salary cap leagues this season. Read Past Outlooks
Misses cut after late double bogey
July 3, 2026
Greyserman recorded a two-under 69 in the second round of the John Deere Classic but missed the cut by one stroke.
ANALYSIS
Greyserman opened the tournament with an even-par 71 but rebounded nicely Friday by going four-under through 14 holes. He was on track to make the three-under cut line, but those hopes were dashed by a three-putt double bogey on the par-4 15th. Greyserman was unable to gain the stroke he needed over his final three holes, which included a missed eight-foot birdie putt on the par-5 17th. He lost 3.21 strokes with his irons and 1.08 strokes off the tee, which outdid his solid work around the green (plus-1.28 strokes) and with his putter (plus-2.17 strokes). Greyserman has just one top-10 finish to his name this season (T9 at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson) and has missed the cut nine times in 18 tournaments, with three of those MCs taking place in his last four outings. He's in the field for next week's Genesis Scottish Open, where he finished T21 in his event debut in 2024 before missing the cut last year.

2025
2024
It was a tale of two seasons for Greyserman during his rookie season. The first half wasn't terrible, Greyserman managed a pair of top-10s, but at the halfway point of the season, it was reasonable to wonder if he'd have his card in 2025. Fast forward six months and he's in the running for ROY. Greyserman's second-half was outstanding, it included three runner-ups in the span of five events and not a single missed-cut after the U.S. Open (where his turnaround began). Did he set the bar too high for this season though? Greyserman does not have a history of winning on the PGA Tour, and while he had a lot of success this past season, he wasn't able to close out any of his three runner-ups, so the safe play would be to fade him in salary cap leagues this season and see how he progresses in year-two.
The former Duke Blue Devil remains winless through his first 91 career starts on the Korn Ferry Tour dating back to 2019, but he's a first-time PGA Tour card earner after finishing ninth on the KFT points list in 2023, thanks in large part to runner-up efforts at The Ascendant and the Pinnacle Bank Championship. Greyserman ranked top-10 on the KFT in both par-5 scoring and scrambling this past season, making 18 of 24 cuts along the way.
