2026 Fantasy Outlook
Hubbard appeared to have lost his form this past spring after going through a nine-event stretch with only three made cuts and a best finish of T47, but he rebounded with three results of T12 or better across his next four starts to right the ship. A T3 finish at the Wyndham Championship was enough to keep his card for a seventh straight season, but he failed to post a top-25 in seven fall events. Hubbard relies on his above average putting, but he's never been a particularly good driver and the iron play has dipped the last couple of seasons. He's a tough player to be overly excited about as his best golf looks to be in the rear view mirror. Read Past Outlooks
Finishes 70th at Travelers Championship
Hubbard carded an even-par 70 on Sunday at the Travelers Championship to finish two-over and alone in 70th place.
ANALYSIS
Hubbard, whose brother announced that he's been dealing with a significant heart condition (cardiomyopathy), had been sidelined since a missed cut at the Memorial Tournament and was even hospitalized for four days. Returning to action at TPC River Highlands at less than full strength, Hubbard lost 10.3 strokes with the flat stick, but he ranked top-15 among the Signature Event field in both SG: Around-the-Green and Prox: 175-200 yards. He plans to be in the field again this week for the John Deere Classic where he's placed T41 or better in five straight years, highlighted by a T6 here at TPC Deere Run in 2023.

Hubbard had a breakthrough season in 2023 when he posted six top-10s on his way to nearly $3 million in earnings. Hubbard had been trending upwards during the previous few seasons and it seemed to pay off during the '23 season. His game slipped a little off that pace in 2024, but not so much that '23 seemed like a fluke. Hubbard seems to have solid footing now and it's unlikely that he takes a major step backwards anytime soon, but his ceiling is still a mystery. Hubbard spent almost a decade getting to this point and at no point has he shown a high ceiling. That could change if he finds his first PGA Tour win at some point, but for now, the safe play is to be very cautious of Hubbard in salary cap leagues.
