2026 Fantasy Outlook
Yu's regular season numbers have improved in each of the past two seasons since his rookie campaign in 2023. In addition, Yu carded his first PGA Tour win during the fall portion of the 2024 season at the Sanderson Farms Championship. Yu has been pretty consistent in his three years on the PGA Tour, but he hasn't shown much of an upside outside of his one win during the fall. T15 at John Deere Classic
Yu fired a five-under 66 on Sunday at the John Deere Classic to finish 14-under and tied for 15th.
ANALYSIS
Yu ranked fourth among the field in SG: Ballstriking during Sunday's final round at TPC Deere Run, hitting 14 of 18 greens in regulation en route to six birdies as well. He ultimately collected 23 total par-breakers across 72 holes, finishing T4 in putts per GIR and fifth in Birdie or Better percentage for the week. Yu improves 13 spots to No. 115 in the FedExCup standings, and he'll be in attendance again this week for the Genesis Scottish Open where he tied for 34th last year.

Yu started the 2024 strong with top-10s in two of his first three starts of the season and he managed another top-10 in February, but after that, it was a long stretch of nothing until October. That's when his fortunes really turned around. Yu picked up his first PGA Tour win at the Sanderson Farms Championship in early October and in doing so, he retained his playing privileges for the upcoming season. Yu was decent as a rookie in 2023, landing just inside the top-100 at the end of the year, and he's again inside the top-100 thanks to his win in October. That being said, he's simply living too dangerously at this point to be trusted. Yu will need to show more consistency moving forward, and at his current number, there's no way you should consider him in a salary cap league.
