2026 Fantasy Outlook
After winning in just his fourth Korn Ferry Tour start following his graduation from Stanford, Vilips won even quicker on the PGA Tour, coming out victorious in his third start of 2025 at the alternate event Puerto Rico Open. He didn't have much success outside of that, with his only other top-10 coming in the team event while posting four top-25s across 22 starts. Outside of solid length off the tee (43rd in distance), Vilips doesn't do much well having ranked 145th or worse in every strokes gained category outside of approach where he was 95th. He'll be able to play with the luxury of having his Tour card locked up through 2027, but it's difficult to be overly optimistic about his fantasy prospects next year. Read Past Outlooks
Cracks top-20 in Houston
Vilips posted a three-under 67 in the final round of the Texas Children's Houston Open to finish tied for 19th with Max McGreevy.
ANALYSIS
Vilips was knocking on the door to a top-10 finish after going five-under through 12 holes in the final round. Those aspirations quickly faded after back-to-back bogeys on holes 16 and 17, but he still did enough to finish in the top-20 for the first time since The American Express in January (T18). Vilips finished the tournament with the second-best SG: Approach while ranking T4 in GIR and T9 in birdies made, but he was near the bottom in SG: Around-the-Green, scrambling and driving accuracy. He's in the field for the Valero Texas Open next week, which will be his first appearance at TPC San Antonio.

2025 Fantasy Outlook
Vilips is set to become a 23-year-old rookie on the PGA Tour after winning the Korn Ferry Tour's Utah Championship in early August on the heels of a runner-up effort at the NV5 Invitational one week prior. The Stanford University product managed to finish 19th on the KFT's 2024 Points List despite making only 10 total starts, placing top-25 in seven of the 10 events. He ranked third among his KFT peers in driving distance and seventh in putting average, though he hit just 56.94 percent of the fairways in regulation.
