2026 Fantasy Outlook
Conners has been one of the highest floor players on the PGA Tour for the last few years due to his extremely consistent ball striking. When he gets the putter to match up as well, it's hard to keep him out of the top 10. This was the first season of Conners' career that he ranked inside the top 100 in SG: Putting. He had a great start to the season with top-25s in 10 of his first 14 starts, but seemed to lose some steam over the rest of the year. If he can continue to be a plus putter, the ceiling for Conners gets a lot higher. He's still also just 33-years-old and has the type of game to one day win a major championship. Conners has been top 10 at The Masters in four of the last six years. Read Past Outlooks
Third in GIR at Arnold Palmer
Conners posted a one-under cumulative score at the Arnold Palmer Invitational to finish tied for 33rd.
ANALYSIS
Conners opened the API with a bogey-free, three-under 69 before two-over Friday and even across the weekend. He was one of the most accurate players in the field, finishing T2 in driving accuracy, third in GIR, ninth in SG: Approach and top-25 in SG: Off-the-Tee and SG: Around-the-Green. However, the 34-year-old Canadian struggled mightily on the greens, losing 5.35 strokes with his putter (49th). Conners has made the cut in four of hive Tour events this season, but he hasn't finished better that T24 (Sony Open in January). He'll tee it off next week at THE PLAYERS Championship, a tournament where he's had recent success (T13 in 2024 and T6 in 2025).

Conners had a great 2024 as he made every cut and racked up 13 top-25 finishes. His ball-striking numbers were once again fantastic as he ranked 21st in SG: Off-the-Tee, third in SG: Approach and 26th in GIR percentage. By contrast he was outside the top-100 in both SG: Around-the-Green and SG: Putting for the seventh straight season. This is just what Conners is. When he does finally have a good putting week he is usually right there in the thick of things. Conners will have to capitalize on those weeks to put him amongst the upper tier players on the PGA Tour in terms of earnings in 2025.
