Christiaan Bezuidenhout

32-Year-Old Golfer
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Bezuidenhout had a massive 2024 season where he earned over $5 million, but his three seasons outside of that season have all ended with earnings in the $2 million range. The strange thing about that 2024 season was that it wasn't a result of a big win. Often times when a player makes a big jump in earnings, it's due to a win, but Bezuidenhout just grinded his way to $5 million that season. Bezuidenhout has the game to get back to that $5 million mark again, but the problem for this season is he won't access initially to the Signature Events, which will make it difficult to boost his earnings number. There is potential here, but the desk is somewhat stacked against a significant improvement in 2026. Read Past Outlooks
Vaults to T12 after Sunday 65
July 5, 2026
Bezuidenhout fired a six-under 65 in the final round of the John Deere Classic to finish tied with Blades Brown and Tyler Duncan for 12th.
ANALYSIS
Bezuidenhout posted scores of 68 in each of the first three rounds before putting it all together with his best performance of the tournament Sunday, which included three-straight birdies from holes one to three and holes 13 to 15. He ranked T5 in birdies and 13th and 14th in SG: Putting and Approach, respectively, though he also lost 1.38 strokes off the tee (61st) while finishing T51 in driving accuracy. It was the fourth top-25 finish of the season for Bezuidenhout and his best outing since his T6 at the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic in mid-May. He's in the field for the ISCO Championship next week.

Bezuidenhout made the TOUR Championship for the first time in 2024 after a strong season that saw him rack up 12 top-25 finishes. He was able to overcome ranking 144th in SG: Off-the-Tee with strong play through the rest of his bag. The South African was 58th in SG: Approach, 44th in SG: Around-the-Green and 20th in SG: Putting. The driving issues are still a definite concern, especially playing on longer courses, but he's shown to be one of the top putters on Tour for the last few years. As long as the approach play follows then Bezuidenhout should be in for another solid campaign in 2025.
Bezuidenhout was unable to build off a solid 2021-22 campaign, posting just one top-10 over 28 events. Nonethless, he still made over two-thirds of cuts and it was enough to retain his card for another season. The South African is held back by his lack of distance off-the-tee and an average iron game, which puts a lot of pressure on his typically reliable short game. Bezuidenhout will likely struggle against stronger fields, meaning he'll need to take advantage of non-signature events at shorter venues.
This past season was Bezuidenhout's first full season on the PGA Tour and he certainly got off to a good start. His numbers are a bit deceiving as he earned over $2.2 million while posting just one top-10, but that top-10 was a runner-up at the John Deere Classic. While that runner-up boosted his numbers, he earned his spot in the top-70 with consistency as he made the cut in 20 of 24 starts this past season. Bezuidenhout is his late-20s and he's had plenty of success around the globe, so it would seem that getting a full year under his belt on the PGA Tour could lead to bigger and better things in year-two. As such, Bezuidenhout deserves a long look in salary cap leagues this season.
Bezuidenhout notched two top-10s during the Korn Ferry Tour Finals to officially earn a PGA Tour card for the 2021-22 campaign, though he's already fairly well known with three international wins in 2020 and a top-50 Official World Golf Ranking. The South African didn't miss a single cut around the globe throughout his first 19 worldwide events played during the 2021 calendar year. He also placed solo-seventh at the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March.
