2025 Fantasy Outlook
There's one thing that Tosti does really well and that's bomb it off the tee. The 28-year-old ranked third in driving distance and 11th in SG: Off-the-Tee in 2024. That was about the only good news as he was outside the top-150 on Tour in SG: Approach, SG: Around-the-Green and SG: Putting. It's tough to put up any type of consistent results when that many parts of your game are so far off. Tosti made the cut in less than half of his starts and had just three top-25 finishes. That being said, he nearly won the Houston Open in the spring, but settled for T2. Tosti has the length that you can't teach, but he needs to refine everything else if he is to stay on the PGA Tour. Tosti finished in a share of fifth place at the Texas Children's Houston Open following a two-under 68 in the final round.
ANALYSIS
Tosti came into the week really struggling having gone 68th-MC-MC-MC following a T10 finish at the Mexico Open. The good news was that he was coming to a course he has some confidence at after he finished T2 last year at Memorial Park. It was much the same this year with four strong rounds to finish in the top-five. Tosti ranked 14th in SG: Off-the-Tee and sixth in SG: Approach. He will hope to carry this play into the Valero Texas Open.

A final-round 62 directed Tosti to a three-stroke win at the Korn Ferry Tour's Pinnacle Bank Championship in August, and he would ultimately finish the 2023 season with 10 top-10s to just four missed cuts across 23 events. Sacrificing precision for power off the tee, Tosti ranked third on the KFT in driving distance, which helped him to a KFT-best 28.81 par-breaker percentage and 24 total eagles. He also made the cut in all three of his appearances at the PGA Tour level this past season, most notably tying for 10th at the Mexico Open. The Argentinian might not factor into shallower season-long formats in 2024, but he profiles as a potential dart throw in daily fantasy contests.
