Adams (groin) landed a one-year deal with the Titans on Thursday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The safety suffered a groin injury in Week 15 last year with the Jets and ended the season on injured reserve. Healthy again, Adams will try to find a role with his former coach, Robert Saleh, the new head man in Tennessee. The former Jet recorded more than 80 tackles in both the 2023 and '24 campaigns.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2025
2024
Adams started 26 of the 30 games in which he appeared over the past two seasons, averaging 83 tackles and 5.5 passes defensed. With offseason addition Andre Cisco expected to man one of the starting safety spots, Adams will compete with rookie fourth-round pick Malachi Moore for the other, though the loser of that competition will likely still contribute in packages that call for extra defensive backs.
Adams signed with the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of Illinois in 2022 and proceeded to break out in 2023, starting 15 games while notching 82 tackles (54 solo) and three interceptions among his five passes defensed. Two of those interceptions came in his last three appearances. The 25-year-old Adams is penciled in as the team's starting free safety heading into 2024.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could lose starting spot to rookie
SNew York Jets
June 8, 2025
Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic believes rookie fourth-round pick Malachi Moore has a chance to beat out Adams for a starting safety role in 2025.
ANALYSIS
Moore has looked good early in OTAs. His measurables don't stand out, but Moore has been lauded for his football IQ as a four-year starter at Alabama. Adams has made 26 starts over the past two seasons, but that was under a different coaching staff. Free-agent addition Andre Cisco is expected to assume a starting role, leaving Moore and Adams to battle for the other starting spot at safety.
