2024 Fantasy Outlook
Hobbs, who the Raiders took in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, racked up a career-high 86 tackles in 2023, which was tops among the team's defensive backs, despite having missed four contests along the way. Once again in line to log regular cornerback snaps out of the slot in 2024, Hobbs retains fantasy utility heading into the final year of his rookie deal. Read Past Outlooks
Will not return
Hobbs (ankle) will not return to Sunday's game versus the Bengals.
ANALYSIS
No surprise here, as Hobbs was carted to the locker room. In his absence, Decamerion Richardson and Darnay Holmes are candidates to fill in at slot cornerback.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba was the star of Week 9, leading the league in fantasy points and air yards despite taking nearly all of his snaps in the slot. RW's Jerry Donabedian has the full breakdown from Sunday.
Justin Jefferson will almost certainly have a big game Sunday, and the Colts pass defense is weak enough for Jordan Addison to get rolling in the same game.
Drake London's breakout should continue against a Seattle secondary that might be without its two starting boundary corners.
Michael Pittman got back on track in Week 4 and should keep it rolling in Week 5, as neither the Jags nor Colts have viable coverage personnel.
2023 Fantasy Outlook
Seemingly on track to become one of the few success stories within the Raiders' secondary unit in recent memory, a fractured left hand forced Hobbs to miss six games in the middle of his sophomore campaign last season. He managed to return Week 13, and ultimately finished the year with 72 tackles (57 solo) and four passes defensed in 11 contests. Hobbs should enjoy plenty of responsibility as the Raiders' top cornerback moving forward.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Drew trade interest
The 49ers inquired about trading for Hobbs prior to the trade deadline, Adam Caplan of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The 49ers were active at the trade deadline, adding Chase Young to the defensive line, and the team apparently tried to beef up its secondary as well. Hobbs would have been a solid addition as he has one interception and six passes defended in eight games this season, but the Raiders reportedly declined to even discuss a potential deal. Las Vegas could look to extend Hobbs this offseason as he heads into the final year of his rookie contract.
